Tiffany brings a decade of expertise as a licensed cosmetologist, with a specialization in Sisterlocks and small loc care and maintenance.  At the heart of her practice is a commitment to healthy hair and educating clients and fellow stylists, empowering them with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed. She is the proud owner of Lather and Locs RVA.  In a space known for its energy and vibe, she not only educates aspiring stylists but also serves a growing clientele.

 Meet Becca, owner of Loc’d In Vanity and our newest cosmetology apprentice & currently completing my certification for Sisterlocks. With years of beauty experience, she now brings her passion to Lather & Locs RVA—offering lash and brow services, plus microloc and traditional loc maintenance. Becca is dedicated to healthy hair, glowing skin, and helping you feel confident in your unique beauty. 

 Meet Alexis, owner of Lexi Locs and a proud graduate of the Lather & Locs RVA Training Academy. She recently completed her Sisterlocks training and is now accepting new sisterlocks and microlocs clients. Alexis also specializes in microloc establishments and loves creating stylish, customized looks for every loc journey. Academy 8/1/2023.  

 Karen is now accepting new clients for Sisterlocks® establishments, retightenings, microlocks, and a variety of loc care services. She brings both experience and dedication to her craft, having completed the Lather & Locs RVA Locs Training Academy on June 1, 2021. Since then, Karen has continued to refine her skills through hands-on training, ongoing education, and real-world experience with a diverse range of clients. Whether you’re beginning your loc journey or maintaining the one you already love, Karen provides a professional, attentive, and knowledgeable experience every time. 

 Key, owner of Loc’d By Key, is a dedicated loctician and graduate of the Lather & Locs RVA Training Academy. She is also excelling as a Certified Sisterlocks consultant, offering expert establishments and retightening's. Passionate about healthy hair and client care, Key is here to support you at every step of your loc journey. 

Shatilya is known to most of her clients as Tee.  She is a skilled loctician specializing in traditional starter locs using coils or twists. She has also developed expertise in microloc maintenance, and known as the guru of loc styling.  Shatilya is our go-to stylist for children's and teen loc care. A proud graduate of the Lather & Locs RVA Locs Training Academy in December 2022, she continues to elevate her craft with precision and passion.

 Tia is a talented natural hair care specialist and has completed her training as a Master Barber.   Passionate about promoting healthy, beautiful hair, she offers a variety of services tailored to all types of natural hair, including expert braiding and men’s cornrows. As well Tia performs loc care and maintenance and styling. 

 Meet Asa — a licensed stylist and graduate of Henrico’s Cosmetology Program. After 8 months as a dedicated salon assistant, she’s mastered microloc maintenance, braiding, and children’s styles. Now attending Virginia State University, Asa is booking weekend appointments and bringing skill, passion, and professionalism to every client.

  Cheryl brings expertise and a holistic touch to loc care, offering top-tier services like microlocs, loc styling, maintenance, and overall loc care. She’s passionate about helping clients embrace their roots and individuality through their loc journey. As Cheryl says, “By choosing locs, we connect with our roots and celebrate our individuality.    Loretta is the owner of Devine Locs By Love. She is a true jack of all trades with a heart for people and a passion for beauty. She loves helping others feel confident and radiant—especially through her artistry with locs. With a natural gift for creativity and connection, Loretta brings warmth, skill, and soul to everything she does.
